A bonbon, or bonbon de chocolat, is a small chocolate-covered candy or confection. In typical usage it is a dipped, molded, or filled chocolate with a filling of ganache, brittle, nougat, caramel, fondant, marzipan, praline, truffle, etc.

From the French bon-bon (1796), from French bon, "good", reduplicated.
