Tamagoyaki is a Japanese egg preparation, similar to an omelette, in which several layers of fried egg and rolled together. The raw scrambled egg is often seasoned with mirin and sake prior to cooking.
Tamagoyaki is usually prepared in a special pan called a tamagoyakinabe or makiyakinabe.
