The white mushroom, also marketed as common mushroom, button mushroom, cultivated mushroom, table mushroom, and champignon mushroom, is a small edible white mushroom sold and used worldwide. It is the immature white form of Agaricus bisporus, which grows further into an immature brown form marketed as crimini mushroom, and when mature is sold as portobello mushroom.
