Satti is a term used in the Southern Philippines (Mindanao) area for satay (grilled meat skewers), which was imported to the region from Malaysia. It is usually made with chicken or beef but can also be made with pork or liver. It is commonly eaten as a breakfast food and is typically served with ta'mu and sauce.
In the majority of the Philippines, a similar dish to satay usually made with pork or chicken is referred to as inihaw or inasal , or by the generic English name "barbecue"
