Mondeghili are meatballs typical of Milanese cuisine in the Italian region of Lombardy.
The main ingredient of the dish is leftover meat, usually beef because of its popularity in Milan: the dish was developed to use up leftover cuts of beef. The meatballs are also enriched with sausage, raw salami, liver, mortadella and other pork.
