Crespelle (singular crespella) is an Italian style of crêpe. They are prepared in an identical fashion to the French crêpe, but are often used filled with savory fillings and topped with sauce, layered like a lasagna, or baked. The term is also used, in Italian, for crêpes served in a sweet or savory style in a fashion similar to the French custom.
