Bluefin tuna is the common name for several species of tuna, all of which are highly sought-after commercial fish served both as raw sushi and sashimi or in cooked applications.

Conservation status
All species of bluefin tuna are ranked AVOID by fisheries conservation organizations. Worldwide stocks of all species are depleted and under continuing fishing pressure.
