Spam musubi is a Hawaiian snack food, made by sandwiching a slice of grilled Spam between two blocks of rice and wrapping the whole in a strip of nori (seaweed). It is ultimately derived from the Japanese onigiri, but the exact history of how the dish became ubiquitous on the Hawaiian islands is disputed.
