Pickled daikon, called takuan, takuwan, or takuan-zuke in Japanese, and danmuji in Korean, is a pickle made with daikon radishes.
It is an example of Japanese tsukemono, or pickles, or, more specifically oshinko. Note that oshinko only refers to quick pickles, that is, pickles made without a long fermentation step.
