Navratan korma, or "nine-jeweled curry" is a North Indian korma dish of mixed vegetables and fruits sautéed in a spiced cream sauce. Traditionally, nine different kinds of vegetable and fruit must be used, in keeping with the navaratna tradition that ascribes high status or value to jewelry in this style ref-1. Traditionally it was made with dried fruits, though fresh fruits may now be used.
