Mirchi bhajia (also mirchi bada, mirchi vada) is an Indian dish of a large green chili pepper stuffed with spices, mashed potato or cheese (usually paneer), which is then battered with a spiced chickpea batter and deep fried. They originated in the state of Rajasthan but are now a common street food in much of India, often served with chutneys and sauces.
