Mandarin pancake, or dān bǐng (单饼), are a thin flour and water pancake, originally from Shandong province in China. In Chinese cuisine they are usually served with a stew dish and used to wrap individual items from the stew. In Chinese-American restaurant practice, they were adapted as wrappers for moo shu pork .
