Manchamanteles (or mole manchamanteles) is one of the seven moles of Oaxaca. The name translates as "tablecloth stainer". It is a bright red, hot, fruity sweet sauce that uses chiles, almonds, peanuts, spices, garlic, and tomatoes. In some variations, it might also include fruits such as pineapple, apple, or banana.
