Konjak (Amorphophallus konjac), also called konjaku, konnyaku, devil's tongue, voodoo lily, snake palm, and elephant yam, is a Southeast Asian plant that is cultivated for its edible corm (tuber). The starch corm is processed into a flour and jelly called konnyaku in Japan, which is the name that is most often encountered by English speakers.
