Cherry Heering, or Heering Cherry Liqueur, is a Danish cherry liqueur first produced in 1818 by Peter F. Heering in Copenhagen. It is made by macerating cherries with spices and neutral grain spirits, and then aging the mixture in oak casks before sweetening.
The recipe has remained largely unchanged for over two centuries. Cherry Heering is a key ingredient in numerous cocktails including the Singapore Sling and the Blood & Sand.
The brand was purchased by the Dutch DeKuyper company in 2017.
