Sasa dango is a Japanese dish of
dango
(skewered dumplings) from Niigata Prefecture. They are fillwed with
anko
(red bean paste) or
kinpira
(a savory browned stew), and wrapped in
broad-leaf bamboo
leaves after they are prepared.
