Coconut cream is a thick, milky-white liquid extracted from the pulp of mature coconuts. Coconut cream is the richest version of coconut milk, typically with more than 20% fat by volume. It is used widely around the world for desserts and beverages.
Note that coconut cream should not be confused with cream of coconut, which is a processed, sweetened product mostly made in Puerto Rico, and which is mostly designed as a ready-to-mix ingredient in piña coladas.
