Cipaille, also cipâte or six-pâtes, is a Quebecois savory meat pie, whose name was probably derived from the 18th century sea-pie, a savory fish pie of the Maritime provinces.
Cipaille contains no fish or other seafood, but instead uses moose, partridge, hare, beef, veal, pork and chicken.
