Bienmesabe, in the Canary Islands, Panama, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela, is a dessert made with ground almonds, honey, and egg yolk.
Note that in Spain (especially Andalusia), bienmesabe refers to a fried fish dish (see Bienmesabe (Spanish fish dish)). The dessert is referred to in these areas as bienmesabe antequerano to avoid confusion.
