Rijstevlaai, also called rijsttaart or tarte au riz (French), is a single crust pie filled with rice pudding, popular in the Limburg region of eastern Belgium, south-eastern Netherlands, and the German area around Aachen. It is an example of vlaai, a pastry style associated with this area.
