Proso millet (Panicum miliaceum), also known as broomcorn millet, is a species of millet that is cultivated worldwide.
Other names for proso millet include common millet, hog millet, Kashfi millet, red millet, and white millet. "Proso" is derived from the word for millet in many Slavic languages.
