Pin Money Pickles were a brand of pickled vegetables, originated in 1868 by Ellen G. Tompkins Kidd of Richmond, Virginia. Under her management, she grew her pickling business into a significant enterprise, servicing many restaurants and rail lines in the New York area.
Mrs. Kidd died in 1932 and the business closed down in the 1950s.
