Pacific whiting

Pacific whiting, also called North Pacific hake, Pacific hake, amd jack salmon (Merluccius productus), is a fish of the eastern Pacific Ocean, with mild flavor and soft texture. They are a popular commerical fish, and the most abundant commercial fish on the Pacific coast. With proper handling, Pacific whiting is one of the best frozen hake products available.
