M'hanncha is a Moroccan pastry made by arranging a cylinder of pastry-wrapped
almond paste
into a snake-like shape. It is eaten by breaking off pieces from the outer-most ring of the coil. Typically
warqa
pastry would be used, but
phyllo
can be substituted.
