Lambig is an apple brandy from Brittany, France. It is made by distilling cider (apple wine) and is similar to the more well-known Calvados from Normandy. Lambig is aged in oak barrels, which imparts complex flavors and contributes to its status as a traditional Breton spirit. It is often consumed as an after-dinner drink or used in cooking.
