Lake trout (brown trout)

The European lake trout (Salmo trutta morpha lacustris) is a freshwater subspecies of the European brown trout. It has been widely introduced outside of its native range; to avoid confusion with the native lake trout in North America, it is often referred to as brown trout in the Americas.
