  • A Southern Thai snack made from sticky rice, coconut milk, sugar, and salt, which is wrapped in mangrove fan palm leaves and boiled or steamed. This is referred to as "khao tom luk yon" outside of Southern Thailand to avoid confusion with the second meaning.
  • A Central Thai snack of boiled glutinous rice balls covered in shredded coconut.
