John Dory (Zeus faber, as well as other species of genus Zeus), also called big-eye dory, Saint Pierre, Peter's Fish, and matodai, is a coastal marine fish with a wide worldwide range. It is prized for use in restaurants because of its mild, firm, and versatile white flesh.
