Hungarian wax peppers are a cultivar of Capsicum annum , which range from mild to medium heat. They are usually harvested while still yellow, between 4" and 6" in length. They become orange and red at maturity. Hungarian wax peppers are often pickled and used as garnish for sandwiches and other dishes.
