Cripps Pink

The Cripps Pink, which is the primary cultivar sold under the name of Pink Lady, is an apple variety. The Apple and Pear Australia Limited organization made the decision to go to market with Pink Lady, a trademark, rather than attempting to enforce exclusivity on the Cripps Pink cultivar, which is patented, since patents expire after a relatively short period.

A close relative of the Cripps Pink is the Cripps Red, which is marketed as Sundowner and Joya.
