Black nightshade

Black nightshade (Solanum nigrum) is a plant native to Eurasia and introduced widely worldwide. The ripe berries and cooked leaves of the plant are used as food in much of the world, though the immature green fruit and raw leaves are toxic and can cause serious health effects and death.
