The Acey Mac, also called the Buhr McIntosh, is an apple variety.
It is described by Pomiferous as follows:
It is medium in size and fairly round in shape. The base color is a greenish yellow, over which the apple is washed deep red to deep purple red on more than 90 per cent of its surface. The flesh is white, crisp, juicy and sweet, moderately tart eating apple with strawberry flavors.
